Nancy Trebon-Howard

I began my professional life as an educator after graduating from San Diego State University. I have lived
in Solana Beach, San Diego and Escondido and know
San Diego County well having been here for 36
years.   

I feel like I have always been in real estate.  My grandfather was a Broker and owned West Coast Properties in our hometown of Santa Maria from the 1930's until his passing in 1952. My father also worked as a realtor early in his professional career along side my grandfather. So I guess you can say it runs in the blood. And furthermore, this career
suits my personality.  

However, I don't think I would
have been as successful if it hadn't been all the
experience I had in working as an educator.

I spent time as a teacher, athletic director, principal of
summer school, coach, teacher on special assignment
working in administration serving students with difficult
life situations, and spent the last 10 years in education as the
Coordinator of the AVID program, a program for future
college students who were low income or students who
would be the first in their family to attend college

In 2002 I was recognized by the San Diego Chargers as
a "Chargers Champion Outstanding Teacher" and for
"Making a Difference in Students Lives". Ironically it was the year after

my son won as "A Chargers Champion" for being a top student in San Diego County. In 2003 I was
selected as "Teacher of the Year" by the San Diego
County Junior Achievement program.

I was the founding member, along with local citizen Don Cerone, of the
San Diego County High School Roller Hockey 
Conference for high school players.  Roller hockey began in 1994 as a
campus Club Sport and became recognized as a  CIF
Sport in 2001.

Since I have become a Realtor I have had an array of real estate
experience.  I have helped clients with residence
purchases and sales; worked with short sales,
foreclosures and probate transactions. I have helped
clients sell and buy single family residence homes,
condos, town homes, mobile homes, income property as
well as have assisted in the sale of a business enterprise.

My strengths are my negotiation and listening skills.  
From years of working with the community, business and
education I learned how to work with individuals not
against them to obtain and best serve their
needs.

My past experiences have taught me how to

help individuals who are not in the

best of circumstances. Divorce, a loved ones passing,

foreclosure, empty nest are all situations that

can be difficult at best.  However, I have the

necessary skills to help you with your real
estate purchase or sale and will be sensitive to your needs during a transaction.

In closing I quote my grandfather's slogan which
represents our family philosophy of real estate and it is just  
as important today as it was in the 30's,
